Why workshops return
Buyers come back when the engine in the photographs is the engine on the forklift, the euro price never moved, and the fitment answer arrived before payment.
Every listing is shot in Hamburg. Brackets, sensors, and the turbo stay as they are. If a part is missing, it is missing in the picture, and we say so before you pay.
Look from the front of the block to the mounting face, then ask about anything that is still unclear in the frame.
Compression is compared cylinder to cylinder. Leak-down is noted where the test ran. Oil pressure is checked, and the sump is looked at for metal. Those notes stay with the order.
Eligible engines leave with a warranty of up to 12 months from delivery when a qualified workshop fits them correctly.
A 330d badge is not one engine. Send the VIN and we check the plate against the chassis, the year, and the gearbox — including sump, flywheel, and cooler.
If the unit is wrong, we say so. A turned-down sale beats an engine that will not sit in the bay.
